As previously mentioned, you may choose to study through the School of Education?s Distance Learning or on campus. Should you think that a physical classroom is a better fit for you, Centennial College has four campus locations. All campuses are centrally located and easily accessible by public transit. Classrooms are fully equipped with tools and labs to ensure that hands-on practice is obtained. Meanwhile, Distance Learning, designed with flexibility in mind, is a form of instructor-led study enabling students to work through course material and assignments in their own time and space, with 24- hour access to the online classroom.

Now That You Have a List

When I first started blogging, I built a list.. for what it seemed, no reason what so ever.

I didn?t email my list for months, I simply did it because I saw other bloggers doing it and it looked ?professional?. I was also 16 at the time. The first time I emailed my list, I saw quite a noticeable increase in traffic for that day! The more I emailed them, the more traffic my site got and in result, the more money my site made.

Make sure your regularly emailing your list, a minimum of once a week, if you don?t update your subscribers often, they will look else where for content!

LONDON (AP) ? Former News International executives on Tuesday challenged testimony given by their bosses ? Rupert and James Murdoch ? with one saying the media mogul had gotten it wrong when he blamed outside lawyers for improperly investigating the company's tabloid phone hacking scandal.

Jonathan Chapman, the former director of legal affairs with News International, said Rupert Murdoch wasn't being accurate when he told Parliament that he blamed the London law firm Harbottle & Lewis for failing to uncover the scope of the hacking scandal back in 2007. News International is the British arm of Murdoch's global News Corp. media empire.

"I don't think Mr. Murdoch had his facts right," Chapman told lawmakers. "He was wrong."

Chapman was one of four executives fielding questions from Parliament's media committee about what they knew and when ? and all have already cast doubt on key aspects of the testimony given by the Murdoch family earlier this summer.

The hacking scandal has decimated Murdoch's British newspaper arm, leading to the closure of its top-selling Sunday tabloid, News of the World, and the arrests of more than a dozen journalists.

It's also rocked the top levels of Britain's political and police elite. Andy Coulson, a former News of the World editor and until recently one of Prime Minister David Cameron's top aides, has resigned ? as have the two top officers with Scotland Yard. Coulson was one of 15 people arrested.

Media committee chairman John Whittingdale says the latest hearing aims to uncover the truth about a critical piece of evidence, unearthed in 2008, suggesting that voicemail interception at the News of the World was far more widespread than the tabloid claimed at the time.

Questions about who saw the evidence are critical to establishing whether there was an attempt to cover up the scale of illegal behavior at the now-defunct tabloid.

The News of the World stands accused of spying on a host of politicians, celebrities, top athletes, crime victims and even terrorism survivors by systematically intercepting voicemail messages in an effort to get scoops. Allegations of computer hacking and police bribery are also being investigated by Scotland Yard.

The evidence in question was an email carrying the transcript of an illegally intercepted conversation and marked "for Neville" ? an apparent reference to the News of the World's chief reporter, Neville Thurlbeck.

Because it apparently implicates others in the hacking, the email has the potential to undermine News International's fiercely held contention that one reporter alone, Clive Goodman, had engaged in phone hacking.

If Rupert Murdoch's son James knew about the email ? and was aware of its implication ? it would lend weight to the suggestion that he had approved a massive payoff to one employee in an effort to bury the scandal.

James Murdoch has said earlier that he was not aware of the email at the time, but former News International legal adviser Tom Crone and Colin Myler, a former editor at News of the World, contradicted him in Tuesday's testimony.

"I told him about the document," Crone insisted, adding there could be no doubt that "this document meant that News of the World had a wider problem and that we had to get out of it."

Daniel Cloke, News International's former personnel director, also contradicted James Murdoch's contention that he and Chapman had approved the massive compensation awarded to Goodman, the disgraced reporter. One lawmaker has alleged that payment was made to buy Goodman's silence about the scale of phone hacking at the paper.

Cloke and Chapman said it was Murdoch's right-hand man, Les Hinton, who signed off on the quarter million pound payout.

Hinton, the publisher of The Wall Street Journal, was the most senior Murdoch executive to resign in the hacking scandal.

Maximum-security inmates at a state prison near Cumberland are making a gift to childhood cancer patients.
They have made more than 2,000 colorful pillowcases that will be presented Tuesday to the ConKerr Cancer Foundation during a ceremony at the Western Correctional Institution.
The inmates have made more than 5,000 pillowcases for the charity since 2009.
ConKerr Cancer is based in Wayne, Pa. The group was founded by Cindy Kerr, whose son died at 17 of bone cancer.

TOKYO (AP) ? Heavy rains and mudslides from powerful Typhoon Talas killed at least 15 people in Japan as the storm moved northward Sunday past the country's western coast. At least 43 others are missing, local media said.

Evacuation orders and advisories were issued to 460,000 people in western and central Japan, Kyodo News agency reported.

NHK TV footage showed a bridge that had been swept away after intense rainfall caused a river to swell with brown torrents. People holding umbrellas waded through knee-deep water in city streets and residential areas.

The center of the season's 12th typhoon was moving slowly north across the Sea of Japan off the country's west coast, the Japan Meteorological Agency said. It crossed the southern island of Shikoku and the central part of the main island of Honshu overnight Saturday.

That area is hundreds of miles (kilometers) from Japan's tsunami-ravaged northeastern coast.

Because of the storm's slow speed, the agency warned that heavy rains and strong winds are likely to continue and could lead to flooding and landslides.

Three homes were buried in a landslide in Wakayama prefecture. One woman who was rescued whose identity was still being confirmed later died, four remained missing and a 14-year old girl was saved from the debris, police said.

Overall in the hard-hit prefecture, 10 people were dead and 32 people were missing, they said.

Seven people were reported missing in nearby Nara prefecture after homes were swept down a river, NHK said.

Among the dead was a woman who appeared to be in her 30s whose body was found in a river in Ehime prefecture on Shikoku, police said.

A 73-year-old man in Nara prefecture died after a landslide caused his house to collapse, police said.
